Rules

1) Treat each other with respect, and behave in a mature manner. Infantile behavior will not be tolerated.

2) Sex and language ARE allowed here. If you would prefer not to read it, then don't. But, given the subject matter of the books, if you don't like that sort of thing, you're probably in the wrong place.

3) You must be 18 years old to join this group. I will mostly take your word for it, as long as you behave in a mature manner. However, if I find out that you are under legal age, or you behave like a 12 year old, you will be banned.

4) Limit yourself with regard to book characters. Please do not ask for more than 3 main characters, as it makes it hard for other players to get equal playing time-especially if you're out of town on vacation for two weeks and they're waiting on you to post for 10 people.

5)ALL characters (including book characters) MUST have a character sheet filled out and sent in for approval. If we ask you to correct something or add something, do it.

6) Do not post for any character until your profile has been approved.

7) NEVER, EVER: move, speak for, attack, maim, disfigure, rape, torture, kill, or otherwise violate anyone else's character without their player's permission. If you REALLY want to do something evil to someone, NPCs are free, disposable, and a dime a dozen.

8) Run all major plot twists past the owner BEFORE posting them. I don't want to look up and find that the Council is laying siege to the Circus from out of nowhere.

9) Don't get carried away with hybrid characters. I will allow most human/fey mixes, but ALL such
mixes are MORTAL. End of story. Also, you CANNOT mix human and vampire, or human and lycanthrope.

You're either a vampire or not; or a lycanthrope or not. If your character is a shapeshifter via a family curse, you are still a lycanthrope, NOT a human/lycanthrope mix. (**If you wish to play the offspring of a human/vampire union, I will roll dice to decide whether or not your character was born with Vlad's Syndrome. If yes,your character was either stillborn, died in infancy because of deformity or complications, or was killed because it was a danger to society at birth. DO NOT ARGUE THIS.)

10) Please use proper spelling and grammar. If you want to use slang or accents in a character's dialogue, that's fine, AS LONG AS IT'S READABLE. Do not use shorthand or slang in the actual post. (ie: u, r, dis, dat, dey, fo, k, kay, etcetera)

11) This list may be altered or added to at any time. It would behoove you to check back every once in a while, especially if there have been issues on-list recently.
